Moscow underground

Moscow underground

At first, it truly is an unsettling experience to think that not only can you not read or understand the words, or, as in most countries can simply have a good guess based on a rudimentary knowledge of Latin and a bit of school boy french and german, but you have no idea what the alphabet means or looks like. So, how do you get from one place to the other…..back to basics….i’ve dropped a couple of shots of the underground below and you can see that if you can remember the first 4 or 5 russian letters of the station you want to go to (and remember them in your own waylike backwards P, upside down R etc…. then all you are looking for is the first few letters and a bit of guesswork…..anyhow i didnt get lost, and must have done about 10 metro journeys which is way better than sitting in the crowded road system for hours on end!!!!!
